World's Largest Pool

San Alfonso Del Mar is a resort in Chile and it is known with it's 2$ Billion gigantic pool. The pool is officially considered  by the Guinness World of Record as the largest in the world , estimated to sized 16 football fields ( approx. 20 acres) . It can hold up to 250 million liters of sea water with 11.5 ft depth. How it is filled ? Apparently, they filter the pumped sea water from the Pacific Ocean. It opened to the public in 2006 but solely limited with its guest only.

This pool is not suitable for swimming though, it's for boating.
